MORPHOMETRIC CHARACTERISTIC OF PROXIMAL FEMUR IN HAJI ADAM MALIK GENERAL HOSPITAL 2017 – 2022

In the United States, cases of proximal femur fracture are more than 250.000 – 300.000 per year and mortality rates range from 14% - 36%. Although common in American European population, Asian continent also has a considerable number cases. Morphometry is combine study for geometry biology which related with three dimensional structur specially human organ. Implant / prostheses that produced sometimes do not match morphometry because according to population Western countries Caucasian lack morphometric data especially Indonesian population. This descriptive observational research used total sampling method subjects 20 70 years old who underwent Pelvic X-Ray Adam Malik Hospital. The parameter consists femoral head diameter, neck length, shaft angle. result measuring 120 Kappa test was analyze measurements between two examiners. Femoral diameter mean 48.01 ± 4.24, 33.88 3.43, length 21.26 3.16. angle 131.7 3.53.
